Amy Lindley is the daughter of Jen Lindley. Amy's mother died when she was a baby, for a unspecified long-term illness. Later, the girl will be raised by her mother's best friend: Jack McPhee, her great-grandmother Evelyn Ryan and Jack's partner, Doug Witter.
