Great Xpectations is the 6th episode of Season 4 of Dawson's Creek.

Synopsis[]

Andie (Meredith Monroe) gets a letter from Harvard and the news sends her off to a rave with Jack (Kerr Smith) and an uneasy Jen (Michelle Williams), who had been resisting pleas from Drue (guest star Mark Matkevich) to attend. After his parents (Mary-Margaret Humes, John Wesley Shipp) deliver equally important news, Dawson (James Van Der Beek) joins the party with Gretchen (guest star Sasha Alexander) --- and Pacey (Joshua Jackson) and Joey (Katie Holmes), who wonder why Dawson's been hanging out with Gretchen, his pre-adolescent crush.
