Nellie is a rude, bossy cheerleader and supposedly devout Christian, who purports to welcome Jen to Capeside, but quickly shows her true colors as a typical mean girl. Her father owns Capeside Video, where Dawson and Pacey work, and Nellie is no less cruel and demeaning to them in a display of the purported social strata of high school.
