A series of tie-in novels based on Dawson's Creek were released from 1998 - 2001, between Season 1 and Season 4. The first series was written by various authors and published under Simon & Schuster imprints, Pocket Books and Pocket Pulse. Each novel, excluding the first novelization, contains an original story entirely new to Dawson's Creek. However, none are entirely canonical. An additional series of original stories, Dawson's Creek Suspense, released in 2001.
